It was more than just "visions of sugarplums" for us today....these visions actually came to life before our very eyes!!!:) My mom took the kids and me to a Sugar Plum Fairy lunch to meet all the characters from the Nutcracker Ballet.:) We are going to see the actual ballet next week,with the Saint Louis Ballet Company but she thought it would be a great idea to make the characters seem more real to the kids if they could actually interact with them and even get their autographs!!:) The kids have really enjoyed reading the story of the nut cracker and it was so neat to see their faces when they got to see the characters:)
