Packing the Sea Shipment

After Memorial Day, the movers came to pack up all of our stuff for the sea shipment and storage. We were up all day Sunday and Monday making an inventory of every single thing that was going into the air shipment and sea shipment. It took forever! But, we finally got it done! Since Nigeria is like a third world country, we have to bring alot of our own food with us. Things that don't go bad very soon. so, after checking all the expiration dates on packages, here is a picture of all the food we will bring with us in the sea shipment. since it won't arrive in Lagos until sometime between september and November, we had to make sure the food would still be good by the time we received it. We also had to pack things like shampoo, toothpaste, diapers, wipes, deodorant, toilet paper, etc. You can find some of these things some of the time in Lagos, but not all the time. A box of cereal runs between 18 and 20 dollars a box. So, we had to bring that, too.
